(LONDON) – “Say openly the things we hold in our hearts, and that too often are said only behind closed doors.”
President Obama delivered his most extensive remarks to date about American-Muslim relations this week in Egypt.
Referring to the Qur’an, the Muslim holy book, and the Adhan, the Muslim call to prayer, President Obama delivered his most extensive remarks to date about American-Muslim relations.
His efforts to build bridges between the West and the Islamic world clearly have paid off.
Stirred by the President’s unprecedented remarks, Muslims across America stand poised to help their country forge a new and better relationship with the Islamic world.
“As American Muslims, we support President Obama’s vision to meaningfully partner with the Islamic world,” said Wasim Malik, National Vice President of AMC USA. The AMC is an international organization, and is also well-established in over 70 chapters across America.
